Casoria is undoubtedly one of the most flourishing towns in "Campania felix". It is located in a fertile plain attached to the metropolitan land around Naples. It has a view of Vesuvius and is 170 metres above sea level.
The Church of St. Benedict is of artistic interest. It has a Latin cross plan and a single nave with a Majolic dome from 1694, as well as the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie e dell Assunta which is one of the best testimonies of late Baroque, architectural tastes in Casoria.
