Ca' Lustra is a collection of wine-sites : our area is not well known nor particularly well described, but it is exactly this lack of fame and riches that has forced our people to discover and to exploit its abundance of natural resources.
Tilling the soil means for us to work respecting its phases and its rythm. It also means to working in harmony with the land by letting it dictate the cadence and the means of our work.
We are amply repaid by the superb and nuanced taste offered by its produce where the personality of each site is singularly concentrated.
Our philosophy, our commitment
The excellent knowledge of our territory
The bond to the tradition
The continuous searches to improve
The agricultural job into the rispect of the nature
The commercial ethics careful to the right relationship between quality and price
CA' LUSTRA daily finds trust and enthusiasm in its affectionated customers, because of these noumerous reasons like passion, pleasure and operators' professionalism that are successfully increasing.
Profiling of an agricultural enterprise
The secret behind the running of Ca' Lustra lies in the combination of a good knowledge of our area and a respectful, passionate round-the-clock engagement in all the phases of wine-production. We take care of 32 hectars of wine-land in addition to 15 hectars of chestnut wood, olive-trees and grazing land. Franco avails himself of the dedicated help from several well motivated hands in the vineyards and in the winery, all enthusiastically focused on quality and satisfaction. We feel that our work in the Euganean Hills, (which is a "Parco Regionale" i.e. an area protected under the Italian National Trust) is not only a commercial operation in itself, but also our contribution to preserve a unique landscape of few "far-from-the-madding-crowd" hamlets in the middle of the bustling life of the southern Veneto.
It is therefore the wine in the glass that can tell of itself and of its origins inducing the taster to a double trip: in few centiliters a park of history and nature of around 200 Kmqs.
In the early 60s Angelo Zanovello decided to make possible the four children to have a contact with the nature; so in 1962 he it purchased in Faedo (near Roverello Passo) a farm-shelter for the weekend.
The restauration of the original agricultural house and above all the recovery and the cultivation of the first hectares of wine-growing ground promiscuous, olive-grove and wood, involved the whole family to spend its leisure time.
In this context, in 1977, Franco Zanovello decided to devote himself to the agricultural activity and let become the farm Cà Lustra a company.
